This release contains a variety of fixes from 7.4.9. For information about new features in the 7.4 major release, see Section E.277.
A dump/restore is not required for those running 7.4.X. However, if you are upgrading from a version earlier than 7.4.8, see Section E.269.

There was a narrow window in which an I/O operation could be initiated for the wrong page, leading to an Assert failure or data corruption.
